Services listed within this section are covered through The Industry Health Network (TIHN) level of benefits. All other services will refer to your plan of choice ( PPOAn acronym for Preferred Provider Organization. or Low Option Plans) where benefit limitations apply.
As a Writers' Guild-Industry Health Fund participantAn individual or that individual's spouse, dependent children who meet(s) the eligibility requirements established by the Fund., you can take advantage of The Industry Health Network's high quality, integrated health care system and pay no annual deductible and only minimal copayments.
The Industry Health Network of the Motion Picture & Television Fund gives you access to quality health care designed EXCLUSIVELY for Writers' Guild-Industry Health Fund participants. The Network offers you:
- Board-Certified Primary Care Physicians
- A network of nearly 500 highly trained specialists.
- Pediatric services located near each Health Center.
- Affiliated, prestigious hospitals, including our own industry exclusive Motion Picture & Television Hospital, which provides a full range of medical services.
- Quality physicians available at convenient locations when and where you need them.
- Health Centers conveniently located throughout the greater Los Angeles area; most are full service, including physical therapyThe provision, by a person acting within the licensed scope of practice, of evaluation and training in muscle strengthening, neuromuscular reeducation, and ambulation training. Services may include ambulation aids, such as walkers, wheelchairs and devices to assist with transferring a patient, such as lifts. Services may also include therapeutic interventions related to strength and mobility; teaching of in-home exercises; use of modalities such as ultrasound, hot packs/cold packs, galvanic stimulation, and TENS units; and assessment of equipment needs., pharmacy, lab and x-ray capabilities.

It starts by calling (800) 876-8320 for your free copy of our Provider Directory, which provides information on all of our physicians as well as our services and locations. Then simply schedule an appointment with a Primary Care PhysicianA physician within your plan's network who you've selected to coordinate all of your medical care. This includes providing routine medical services and referring you to a specialist, if necessary. at the MPTF Health Center most convenient to you. Your Primary Care Physician oversees all your care and provides referrals to specialists and additional services as needed.***
